This photograph was taken of the back garden of The White Cottage which is situted on the corner of Hallgarth and Duckthorpe Lane.
The houses in Hallgarth can be seen in the background.

This aerial photograph was taken in April 2021 by Richard Gibbons of Marshchapel.
The road on the right of the photograph is Littlefield Lane with the top of the photograh showing the foreshore and sea.

Alf and Beatrice Wrights house, next to the Fish and Chip Shop on Sea Dyke Way.
Alf had passed away by this time, but the house and shop won the
"best decorated property" prize to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11.
The coronation took place on June 2nd. 1953.

The Mill and land in Marshchapel, bought by Mr William Clover in 1952.

The property known as "The Sycamores", can be seen in the centre of this photograph,situated next to Clyde House on the right.
It used to be two cottages and William and Dorothy Clover once lived there, and their daughter Joyce was born there in 1934.
To the left of the picture can be seen the Nissan hut which later became the Village Hall.

This building is in the garden of the Hall, Marshchapel (still there 2024).
Its purpose is unknown but could have been a workshop, accommodation for staff.

West View, Littlefield Lane - The home of Wally and Nora Sargent.
The bungalow was built in the late 1920s at a cost of £95.

This photograph was taken in March 2020 before the two shops were demolished.

Sea Dyke Way - On the left of the school can clearly be seen, "White Farm".
The date of the photograph is unknown, but the War Memorial and School House
(bottom left of picture) are in evidence - both of which were built in the 1920s.

Campo House in Hallgarth.
During the second world war this was used as a temporary hospital.

"Campo", Hallgarth, Marshchapel.
The home of George Sidney Atkinson until WW2, when it was requisitioned by the RAF as a hospital.
His daughter, Marjorie (later Mrs Mossop), was born there. The photograph was thought to have been taken in the 1950s.

During WW2 it was an RAF hospital. The hospital staff lived in the house and the recuperating servicemen lived in a hut in the garden.
In the bay window of the house was a raised dais. This area was used for operations, as the bay window gave the most light into the room.

This photograph was taken at the rear of the Butchers shop, looking across the rear of the Fish and Chip shop on Sea Dyke Way, Marshchapel.
Note the unique fencing repair and on the right can be seen the leg of June Shephard who lived there with her parents at the time.

The white cottage on the right was demolished, probably some time in the early 1970s,
to make way for the entrance into Harpham Road.
