This aerial photograph of Marshchapel was taken in April 2021. The road to the right of the photograph is Littlefield Lane from which point other roads can be plotted. This beautiful photograph was taken and donated by Richard Gibbons of Marshchapel.

Alf and Beatrice Wrights house next to the Fish & Chip shop on Sea Dyke Way. Alf had passed away by this time but the house and shop won the "Best Decorated Property" prize to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11. June 1953
The Mill and land in Marshchapel, bought by Mr William Clover in 1952.
The property known as "The Sycamores" can be seen in the centre of this photograph, situated next to Clyde House on the right. It used to be two cottages. William and Dorothy Clover once lived there, and their daughter Joyce was born there in 1934. To the left of the picture can be seen the Nissan Hut, which later became the village hall.
This building is in the garden of The Hall, Marshchapel (2024). Its purpose is unknown but may have been a workshop, staff accommodation etc.
West View, Littlefield lane - the home of Wally and Nora Sargent. The bungalow was built in the late 1920s at a cost of £95.

Sea Dyke Way - On the left of the school can clearly be seen "White Farm". The date of the photograph is unknown, but the war memorial and school house "bottom left of the picture", are in evidence, both of which were built in the 1920s.
Campo House which is in Hallgarth, Marshchapel.
"Campo", in Hallgarth, Marshchapel. The home of Sidney Atkinson until WW2, when it was requisitioned by the RAF as a hospital. His daughter, Marjorie. "later Mrs Mossop", was born there. The photograph was thought to have been taken in the 1950s.
"Campo", in Hallgarth, Marshchapel. This photograph is thought to have been taken in the 1950s. During WW2 it was used as an RAF hospital. The hospital staff lived in the house and the recuperating servicemen lived in a hut in the garden. In the bay window of the house was a raised dais. This area was used for operations as the bay window gave the most light into the room.
This photograph was taken from the rear of the Butchers Shop, looking across the rear of the Fish and Chip shop.
View down Church Lane. The cottage on the far right, just before the trees was called "Anglia". Mrs M. Atkinson "known as Mother Ack," lived there.

Church Lane, Marshchapel. If you look closely, you can see some of the goods for sale in the old Post Office window. From the date stamp on this postcard, this photograph could have been taken around 1910 / 12. The postcard was sent to a Miss E. Blythe, c/o, Mrs Thompson, 3 Trinity Terrace, Bridlington - from Gertie.
