First responders fund raising by Pat Pardy.
2003

The Grainthorpe and District Drama Group, who won the Regional Final in York and just missed going to the Final in the West End, London.
The play was called "Roses to the Sea". This photograph was taken - Circa; 1920. Fred Grantham "born in 1908", is on the left on the first row.

There was a Church service, Sports, Public Tea and entertainment by the Grainthorpe and District Dramatic Society in the evening.

Although the performances took place in Grainthorpe, some people from Marshchapel were involved with the drama group.

An outing , probably to Cleethorpes.

We are unsure what this event was, but have been told it could be a show put on by Colin Lyons - Circa; 1954

Nora Lyons is 3rd. from left.

This entertainment took place in the Marshchapel Village Hall.
Unfortunately there is no date, so cannot determine whether it was in the new Village Hall or the old Nissan Hut.
Also, none of the participants can be identified.

Philip Leak is at the back in the striped jumper.

We are not sure what the mother and baby event was or indeed when it took place.
Mirrie Leak can be seen behind the lady on the front row, wearing a black hat and holding a baby.
