Jim Fulstow celebrating his 100th Birthday
This photograph was taken at his home in Dorset Gardens in 1962.
Dorset Gardens was a row of houses in Hallgarth opposite the village shop.

Jim Fulstow - he lived to be over 100 year old and lived in Dorset Gardens in Hallgarth - now demolished.
Despite having several fingers missing he used to make wooden clothes horses and ironing boards and sell them locally.

Mr and Mrs Carter ran the Greyhound Pub so the photograph may have been taken there.
Jimmy Johnson was one of the men who returned from the First World War having lost an arm. He used to empty the village toilets before the sewage system was installed.

Julie Kyme (nee Lyons). Julies mother, Marion, was the cook at Marshchapel School for many years.

He lived in Marshchapel at one time.

Norah was the wife of Percy Lyons, the Headmaster, and taught at Marshchapel School.

This is thought to be Norah Lyons when she and her husband, Percy, lived in a cottage in Church Lane, Marshchapel before the school house was built.
