This photograph was taken in the back yard of the Fish & Chip shop on the main road in Marshchapel between the Methodist Chapel and what was the Greyhound Inn.
The corrugated iron structure was where the potato "rumbler" stood. This was a large drum that was filled with potatoes and water and on turning the handle it would peel the potatoes ready for chipping.
In the background can be seen a building used by the butcher's shop which was next door.
