George Sidney Atkinson.
Mr Atkinson served in two World Wars. He was a Chief Engineer in the Royal Navy and served at the Battle of Jutland and also in Madagascar.
He lived at "Campo" in Hallgarth for 25 years until the house was requisitioned by the RAF for a hospital during WW2.
He then moved to "Belmont" in Church Lane, Marshchapel. He ran the Red Garage in Marshchapel c. early 1920s.
