Alf and Beatrice Wright's house, next to the Fish and Chip Shop on Sea Dyke Way.
Alf had passed away by this time, but the house and shop won the
"best decorated property" prize to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11.
The coronation took place on June 2nd. 1953.
