The date of this OS map is not known. However, if you look along Sea Dyke Way
towards the White Horse, you will see in what is now the playing field, a school is marked.
From our records, this would appear to be a rather tempory building, erected by the non-conformists to teach their
children themselves, rather than send them to the other school which had input from the vicar of the local church.
